The Supposed Sleeping Schedule

sleep and health, sleeping habits, sleep problems, sleep tight, sleep healthyI know I am not in any position to tell anyone what to do. However, I find this very interesting truth sent by a friend to me. He told me to forward it to my friends but since all of YOU are considered by me as "friends", I post it here to share it all to you. It's actually about sleeping hours. This is suppose to be the "better" sleeping schedule.

Evening at 9 - 11pm: is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.

Evening at 11pm - 1am: is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 1 - 3am: detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5am: detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

Morning 5 - 7am: detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.

Morning 7 - 9am: absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all.

Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

Now that you know this,it's up to you what time to sleep. But I myself have a very different schedule than what is posted! So good luck to us, nighladies and night gentlemen.. as well as night girls and night boys. And for night babies? No! You better go to sleep!

Drinking Wine and Your Heart's Health

The first time I drank wine, all my joints got warm and my ears got a burning feeling. I can attribute these effects to the fact that I was in a tropical country and I was still a child. But today, everything has changed. I never start my meal without a gulp of wine before it. And all my meals are never complete without at least one glass of wine in it.

Aside from the fact that wine helps in heating up the body in the cold European weather here, I have found a study stating its good effects. As published at CNN Healthpage, drinking a glass or two with meals may indeed help to protect against heart disease. Further support for these findings may be found in the fact that the French, who drink a lot more wine per capita than Americans do, have a third less heart disease.

Why is this so? Because wine contains phenolic chemical compunds known as flavonoids. Antioxidants are present as well due to the fact that wine is a product of fruits like grapes. These compounds and antioxidants have shown evidence to have reduce the artery-clogging propensities of low-density lipids (LDL), the "bad" form of cholesterol, as well as inhibit the formation of blood clots. Indeed, wine is good, but too much of anything is bad, so drink moderately.

Be Aware What Soft Drinks Can Cause YOU

Water may not be the tastiest of all drinks but I have to tell you that it is much better than any soft drink. Why? Just continue reading. -- The phosphoric acid Soft drink's competes with the hydrochloric acid of the stomach and affects its functions. When the stomach becomes ineffective, food remains undigested causing indigestion, gassiness or bloating. Moreover, kidneys are less able to excrete phosphoric acid when it is in excess giving them extra work to do.

Soft drinks remove Calcium from the body, causing an excess amount of Calcium that tends to be deposited in the kidney, resulting in kidney stones. Drinking too much soda (approximately five cans a day according to a USDA research study) has been shown to upset the body's calcium/phosphorus ratio. Under these circumstances, the body attempts to maintain balance by drawing calcium from bone. Over time, bones can become fragile and more susceptible to fractures.

soft drinks risk, soft drinks unhealthy' soda health risk, soft drinks health effect

When one's blod is acidic, it affects the action of glutathione which is an antioxidant enzyme. Phosphoric acid, present in carbonated drinks de-oxidizes blood. In detergent manufacturing industries, phosphoric acid is used to produce water softener. Water softener removes Ca²+ and Mg²+ ion from hard water. In human body, the function remains the same by removing Ca²+ from bones causing osteoporosis. Furthermore, one study from the National Library of Medicine found that the consumption of soft drinks with phosphoric acid should be considered as an independent risk factor for hypocalcemia in postmenopausal women.

Think twice when you pkan to have a soft drink or any carbonated beverage for that matter.

Getting Up from the Grave

As you may have all known or have read, this blog is supposed to be abandoned. But since Google has become generous to it, I am reviving it, will update it with useful posts as usual and will be glad to nurture and maintain it.

Thus, here I am again, happy to update this food, yummy health blog that I created around one year ago. Welcome yourfood blogger back!

In fact, it is quite ironic as I am a bit down with my health at this very moment. This blog would inspire me. I have been missing my karate lessons for two weeks and that is a sad story. I am in coughing fit now so I think my very first come back post would be about taking care of the health in times of weather change!
